Why let a perfectly good theory be damaged by fact? Regardless of the shambles they made of history, the more recent parts of the fable are as accurate as we may know for the next 50 years, or for however long they decide to keep the record sealed "For National Security". It's ridiculous how everyone is just sitting around letting the current administration have it's way with us. Congress is doing nothing but sitting around mumbling and groaning. The judicial branch is neatly tucked away in the President's pocket. No one is doing anything. And it's really pissing me off. And the way Bush and his buddies have made things, anyone protesting or what-have-you could easily be classified as a terrorist, arrested, detained indefinitely, and who knows what else. This country is setting itself up for something... i'm just not totally sure what it is... but it doesn't look good. Yeah, at the time, I thought the same.
